It’s increasingly looking like using AI to handle work can significantly impact your mental health, despite the technology’s promises to ease workloads.
The latest study to highlight this grim trend: a survey of nearly 1,500 full-time U.S. workers that found that an alarming proportion of employees who constantly use AI at work to increase their productivity beyond their normal capacity are becoming fatigued, researchers at Boston Consulting Group and the University of California, Riverside described in a new report Harvard Business Review.
The researchers even gave the phenomenon a meaningful name: “AI Brain Fry”.
