According to Macy’s, users of the new AI chatbot spend about 400 percent more online

Macy’s has launched an AI-powered shopping assistant that increases online spending for those who use the new tool. This is part of the company’s multi-year effort to reverse a decline in sales.

Customers who use Ask Macy’s, the chatbot built on Google’s Gemini platform, spent about 4.75 times more than those who don’t, the company said. Macy’s collected the data over the past few weeks as it tested the shopping assistant with about half of its website’s visitors.
