Accenture is partnering with VMware to help customers move their business to the cloud. The new partnership is part of Accenture Cloud First, for which Accenture committed and debuted $ 3 billion last September. The goal of Accenture Cloud First is to help customers in all industries become cloud-first companies and accelerate their digital transformation.

The Accenture VMware partnership focuses on training Accenture employees in VMware technologies and on developing new services with VMware products. The two companies will also work on vertical industry solutions, including a platform to help telecommunications companies accelerate the adoption of 5G and edge computing.

The Accenture VMware Group will also set up a specialized VMware Cloud Migration Factory that will enable companies to quickly and securely migrate computing workloads to the cloud.
