AAEON Unveils NanoCOM-RAP, Bringing 13th Gen Intel Core Processing to COM Express Type 10 Form Factor

AAEON, a prominent provider of computer-on-module solutions, has recently introduced the NanoCOM-RAP, a COM Express Type 10 CPU module that is powered by 13th Generation Intel Core processors. With options ranging from the Intel U300E processor to the Intel Core i7-1365UE CPU, the NanoCOM-RAP offers up to 10 cores, 12 threads, and a high maximum turbo frequency in both its performance and efficient cores.

The NanoCOM-RAP is designed for customers who require a small, flexible, and scalable solution with high CPU performance and low power consumption. AAEON has upgraded the module’s memory and storage capabilities by equipping it with 16GB of LPDDR5, an improvement from its predecessor’s LPDDR4. The board comes standard with two SATA drives, while additional expansion options are available through four PCIe slots. Users also have the option to include 128GB of integrated NVMe storage.

Featuring integrated Intel UHD graphics that support dual display outputs with resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 at 60Hz, the NanoCOM-RAP is well-suited for AI vision applications. It also includes a high definition audio interface for enhanced functionality.

The module offers a variety of interface options, including a LAN port for Intel I226-IT 2.5GbE Ethernet controller, eight USB 2.0 ports, and two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports. This allows for flexible integration of peripheral devices like cameras and sensors.

With multiple serial communication options such as UARTs, GPIO, SMBus, and I2C, the NanoCOM-RAP is ideal for embedded industrial, robotics, and edge computing applications. Its lightweight design and power input range of 9V to 15V make it easy to deploy in confined spaces.

Supporting operating systems like Windows 10 (64-bit) and Linux Ubuntu 22.04.2 with Kernel 5.19, the NanoCOM-RAP offers developers the flexibility to work in different environments.

Overall, the NanoCOM-RAP from AAEON combines high CPU performance, low power consumption, and a range of features and interfaces to provide customers with a versatile and scalable computer-on-module solution. Its compact design and advanced capabilities make it well-suited for a variety of industrial and edge computing applications.
