There is a bug that makes it pretty trivial for someone to cause problems with Wi-Fi on iOS devices. Discovered by security researchers Carl Schou, it’s enough to create a public WiFi hotspot with a specially crafted name, and when someone connects to it with an iOS device, boom: your WiFi is disabled.

The strange thing about this bug is that it was discovered a few weeks ago and shared publicly and there is still no news of an upcoming fix.
