A few years ago someone lost a Nexus 4 prototype in a San Francisco restaurant. Now history is repeating itself with a Pixel Watch prototype, although this time the story takes place in a Chicago restaurant. It is not clear who left it as no one has gone back to claim it.

As the story goes, the watch was found by a bartender and the photos below were shared by his friend Redditor tagtech414. The watch is empty and didn’t come with a charger, so we can only marvel at the hardware.

The watch has removable silicone straps (20mm) which were reportedly difficult to fit but still leave the door open for later adjustments. As for the watch itself, the Redditor reports that it’s much more comfortable to wear than a Galaxy Watch and feels surprisingly thin. The design of the crown also prevents it from digging into the wearer’s wrist, overall the watch sounds like it can be worn all day and all night.

Google I/O begins May 11th, which will be another opportunity for Google to unveil the Pixel Watch. There is, of course, no guarantee that there have been many opportunities to do so.
