Hugging Face, the open source natural language processing startup, yesterday selected Amazon Web Services (AWS) as the “preferred cloud provider”. AWS users can quickly train and deploy models on Amazon’s cloud machine learning platform.
Hugging Face wants to meet more users where they naturally spend their time (AWS). In addition, Hugging Face’s language models are becoming increasingly hungry for storage space and processing power. AWS, on the other hand, can rent state-of-the-art AI language models to large customers and turnkey services to smaller users.
