IBM is ramping up its focus on MSPs with the introduction of a new MSP program.

IBM announced the launch of a new MSP program at IBM Think 2024, aimed at providing MSP-ready offerings for IBM Partners. The CEO of IBM ecosystem, Kate Woolley, highlighted the company’s commitment to the MSP community and announced the upcoming launch of the MSP program designed to provide differentiated value to MSPs through offerings from IBM’s automation portfolio. The program will offer simplified onboarding, resources, and access to benefits tailored to how MSPs prefer to transact.

Sergio Farache, EVP of global technology business and strategy at IBM Partner TD Synnex, emphasized the importance of MSPs in driving AI adoption as IBM enters the AI era. MSPs are seen as key players in technology adoption and are trusted advisors for IBM clients, particularly in areas like AI and generative AI.

In an effort to help partners make more money with IBM, the tech giant integrated IBM Cloud Platform and software support offerings into the IBM Partner Plus program. Similar measures will be taken with IBM LinuxONE in the coming weeks to better equip and reward partners with the expertise needed to support customer growth and earning opportunities.

TD Synnex has invested in helping partners achieve IBM Gold level partner status, launching a new IBM watsonx Gold 100 program to convert 100 partners to IBM Gold-level partners. The goal is to provide guidance, training, and coaching to help partners successfully navigate the AI revolution and leverage IBM watsonx opportunities more effectively.

IBM Think 2024 is scheduled to take place from May 20 to 23 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. The event will showcase IBM’s focus on AI, innovation, and opportunities for partners in the tech industry.
