Broadcom (NASDAQ:AVGO) has been questioned by regulators in Europe over licensing for its VMware cloud computing unit after several users on the continent complained.
Shares were fractionally higher in mid-afternoon trading.
“The (European) Commission has received information suggesting that Broadcom is changing the conditions of VMware’s software licensing and support,” a spokesperson for the EC told Reuters.
