Optus reveals about 2700 people unable to make triple-0 calls during November outage

Optus has conceded almost 2700 people were unable to contact triple-0 during a widespread outage last year — more than ten times the amount initially projected.

The Senate was initially told only 228 customers were unable to call emergency services during a national outage on November 8 but today Optus revealed an additional 2,468 people were caught up in the chaos.
