New Intel 31.0.101.5594 Graphics Driver Released with Citrix Workspace Fixes and Improvements

Spread the love

Intel has released a new non-WHQL graphics driver, version 31.0.101.5594, just a few days after the previous release. This update contains a minor fix related to Citrix Workspace. It is important to note that non-WHQL drivers are not certified by Microsoft and may be less stable than WHQL versions. If you do not require the specific fix for Citrix Workspace, you may choose to skip this update.

The fix included in Intel Graphics Driver 31.0.101.5594 addresses slow behavior in the Citrix Workspace app when interacting with a virtual desktop. This improvement applies to both Intel Arc A Series Graphics Products and Intel Core Ultra with integrated Intel Arc GPUs.

Despite the update, there are still known bugs present in this non-WHQL driver release. For Intel Arc A Series Graphics Products, users may experience application crashes in games like No Man’s Sky, Enshrouded, and Doom Eternal. Additionally, errors may occur when exporting videos in Topaz Video AI after using certain video enhancement models.

For Intel Core Ultra with integrated Intel Arc GPUs, issues such as application crashes in Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection and errors in running benchmarks for Topaz Video AI and Procyon AI are reported. Users may also encounter problems with VSync remaining enabled after disabling Endurance Gaming during gameplay.

To install Intel Graphics Driver 31.0.101.5594, your computer must be running Windows 10 or 11 64-bit with specific Intel graphics products, including discrete GPUs, integrated GPUs, and various Intel processor generations such as Intel Arc A Series (Alchemist), Intel Iris Xe Discrete Graphics (DG1), and Intel Core Ultra (Meteor Lake), among others.
