Intel’s upcoming Arc Battlemage “X2” and “X3” graphics cards have been revealed, showcasing up to 56 Xe2-GPU cores on a 256-bit memory bus. The X2 and X3 models could be codenames for the next-generation Arc GPUs or just internal names for the cards themselves. Another card labeled as “Churchill Falls” appears to be a canceled SKU based on the Intel BMG-G10 GPU, with newer models like BMG-G21 and BMG-G31 taking its place.
The Intel Arc Battlemage “X3” GPU boasts 448 execution units (EU) or 28 Xe2 GPU cores, with an 8-layer PCB and 16GB of GDDR6X memory on a 256-bit memory bus. The specifics of the GPU inside the second SKU are unknown, but it might be the BMG-G21 GPU that has been recently spotted. Intel is also testing various active fan heatsinks with these Battlemage GPU engineering samples.
