Jisc and Google launch two-year partnership to accelerate AI adoption – Research Information

Jisc and Google have announced a two-year collaboration to help UK universities and colleges move beyond AI experimentation towards wider institutional adoption, with a focus on digital skills, governance and equitable access to emerging technologies.

Announced at Google’s Higher Education Leader Series event, The Science & Strategy of the AI-Powered University, the partnership will combine Google’s AI technologies with Jisc’s expertise in digital transformation and sector engagement.

The initiative aims to address challenges facing higher and further education institutions as they seek to integrate AI into teaching, learning, research and administrative operations. These include developing staff capabilities, establishing effective governance frameworks and demonstrating the impact of AI investment.
