India Among Cisco’s Biggest Growth Markets Outside US, Says Chuck Robbins

Cisco plans to expand its silicon design team in India, with Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Chuck Robbins identifying the country’s engineering talent, manufacturing capabilities and growth potential as key factors behind the company’s focus on the market.In an interview with Press Trust of India (PTI) on Wednesday, Robbins described India as a strategic market for Cisco, citing its scale, ambition and engineering focus.
