NVIDIA’s revenue is growing triple digits and analysts keep raising their targets, yet a closer look at supply constraints, export bans, and rising customer payment delays reveals how much uncertainty surrounds every dollar invested today.

A $1,000 investment in NVIDIA (NASDAQ:NVDA | NVDA Price Prediction) starts from a assumed price of $230.48, and the shares recently traded near $229.47. This piece looks at what that stake could be worth by 2030.

NVIDIA is worth a long look because management expects revenue to grow about 70% next fiscal year, while the stock trades at about 46 times trailing earnings.

What $1,000 Could Become by 2030

The headline assumes 10% growth a year. The model’s central scenario is nearly the same, working out to 10.68% a year.

Its longest forecast runs to October 8, 2031, so every firm number below uses that five-year date. Under its central projection, a $1,000 investment could be worth about $1,660.70 by 2031, a total return of 66.07%. That assumes a share price of $382.76.

There are two rough markers for 2030 itself, and both are estimates taken from outside the model’s targets. On its projected path, the stock reaches $371.92 on October 8, 2030.

At that price, $1,000 would be worth about $1,613.68, a gain of roughly 61.37%. If you simply grow $1,000 by exactly 10% a year for four years, you get $1,464.10.
