While fixes are already available for several products, some firmware updates are not expected until later in October or November.

The vulnerabilities affect six Meraki product families regardless of device configuration. Cisco says there are no workarounds, leaving administrators dependent on the fixed firmware available for each product and software release.

The advisory was published Oct. 7, 2026, and updated the following day with an additional fixed release for MX security appliances. Cisco has not reported known malicious exploitation of the vulnerabilities.
