Reactor has added NVIDIA and Sapphire Ventures as investors in its Series A financing round, led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, as the company scales infrastructure for real-time generative video and world models.
Reactor is building a developer platform designed to provide the compute and infrastructure needed to run increasingly complex world models interactively.
World models are evolving beyond conventional video generation toward AI systems capable of simulating, understanding and interacting with dynamic environments.
Running those models in real time can require substantial GPU resources along with inference and networking infrastructure capable of responding with extremely low latency.
Reactor’s platform combines a proprietary inference engine, global GPU cloud and low-latency streaming layer.
The company says its infrastructure can run models at more than 60 frames per second with latency below 40 milliseconds.
Developers access those capabilities through a unified software development kit and API designed to abstract the underlying complexity of deploying and scaling AI models.
Reactor is already being used across media and entertainment, with Hollywood studios, advertising platforms and video streaming services running projects on the platform.
World-model laboratories in the U.S. and internationally also use Reactor’s infrastructure, while hundreds of developers are building applications on the platform.
The company sees robotics and physical AI…
