Microsoft merged two Copilot apps into one. Its X accounts are still catching up.

Microsoft is combining Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot into one app, and with that, they’re merging the social media accounts too. As spotted by Windows Latest, the Microsoft 365 account on X, followed by more than 61,000 people, has now changed its bio to “Looking for Copilot or Microsoft 365? Follow us on @msftcopilot for everything AI at work.”

The Microsoft 365 profile still shows Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and OneDrive in its banner image. But its new message tells you that if you are looking for Microsoft 365, you should go follow something called Microsoft Copilot instead. The dedicated Copilot X account is now locked.
