Broadcom Slides as China Audits Its Dominance in State Data-Center Networking — BigGo Finance

Broadcom Inc. (AVGO) shares slipped in premarket trading Wednesday after a report said Chinese regulators are surveying the chipmaker’s networking hardware across state-controlled data centers, a review that could loosen its grip on one of the world’s largest technology markets.

The stock fell 0.3% before the opening bell, interrupting a five-session winning streak that had lifted shares roughly 8% and pushed them into positive territory for 2026. The move followed a Financial Times report that China’s State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, known as Sasac, has in recent weeks been tallying the number of Broadcom switches deployed in data centers run by state-owned enterprises.
