The chip industry started the week on a strong note, with falling oil prices and Treasury yields lifting semiconductor and AI stocks. Advanced Micro Devices AMD stood out from the pack, jumping nearly 10% yesterday, hitting a new 52-week high and pushing its market cap to the $1 trillion mark for the first time. This made AMD the fourth U.S. chipmaker to join the trillion-dollar club, after NVIDIA NVDA, Broadcom AVGO and Micron Technology MU. But all four stocks don’t offer the same opportunity from here.
