As predicted by AL, another tech giant has joined the legal world. Google Cloud has unveiled Gemini Enterprise for Legal, an ‘enterprise-grade, purpose-built agentic AI solution engineered for the complex requirements and workflows of the legal industry’.
It now joins OpenAI and Anthropic in having a dedicated legal offering. Legora has also announced that they will become a partner, and that ‘approved mutual customers will be able to utilise some Legora capabilities from within Gemini Enterprise, receiving responses and answers to queries that link back to the relevant Legora thread, where citations, source grounding and permissions remain in place’.
As well as Legora, other partners include: Courtroom5, Docusign, Everlaw, Free Law Project’s CourtListener.com database, Harvey, iManage, NetDocuments, RelativityOne, Solve Intelligence, and Thomson Reuters, as well as Eudia.
