Siliconops.ai today announced the launch of siliconcloud.in, a sovereign cloud platform built for India’s regulated enterprises. Timed to India’s Independence Day, the launch reflects a larger shift in how organisations are thinking about digital independence and not just where their data is stored, but who has control over it.
Built in partnership with Nutanix and delivered and governed from data centres in India, siliconcloud.in is designed for organisations across banking and financial services, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, government and manufacturing, where data residency, regulatory compliance and business continuity are critical requirements.
The platform provides enterprise-grade compute, backup and disaster recovery, and managed cloud services, with a roadmap towards relevant compliance and industry certifications. It is designed to help organisations modernise their IT environments while keeping sensitive data within India and under Indian jurisdiction.
Speaking about the launch of Siliconcloud, Shyam Gaidhane – CEO, Siliconops said “In the age of AI, data has become one of an enterprise’s most valuable assets. The conversation can no longer stop at where data resides; it must also address who controls it.
