Cisco’s Collaboration business has spent most of the past year on the sidelines of its own earnings calls. Back in February, Cisco’s Q2 FY26 call talked up $2.1 billion in AI orders from hyperscalers, and Collaboration barely got a mention. The stock still fell 10% on AI guidance that failed to excite investors. Then Q4 FY26, reported on 12 August, broke that pattern. Cisco told investors Collaboration had just delivered its best quarterly performance in seven years. Growth hit 12% year on year, with double-digit order growth and video devices up 40%.
Cisco’s total revenue for the quarter hit a record $17.3 billion, up 18% year on year, with product revenue up 24%. Collaboration’s 12% growth trails Networking’s 28% and Security’s 14%. It’s also the first time in over a year that Cisco has described Collaboration in positive terms on a call. For most of FY26, the segment was mainly discussed in terms of what it lacked.
