A lawsuit has been filed against IBM and Red Hat, alleging discrimination in hiring practices based on skin color. Missouri’s state attorney general unsealed the lawsuit, accusing IBM of favoring applicants of a certain skin color and implementing quotas based on race, color, national origin, sex, or ancestry. Attorney General Andrew Bailey stated that discrimination in the workplace violates state and federal laws, and he is filing the lawsuit to address this issue. IBM denied the allegations, stating that they do not use quotas for hiring. The lawsuit follows another filed against Red Hat, alleging an “anti-white agenda.” Both companies employ thousands of people in Raleigh and North Carolina.
