ROCHESTER, NY – The Rochester Teachers Association says it has reached an agreement with the Rochester City School District for corrections Payroll errors.
According to the union, affected employees will receive a refund of their due wages plus 10% interest.
The problems started last summer after the district switched to Oracle for payroll processing. Around 800 employees were affected.
In a statement, the district said this agreement “establishes a clear and consistent process for addressing outstanding matters and strengthens our shared commitment to fairness and accountability.”
