Nvidia will join brands including Microsoft and Dell in bringing artificial intelligence to laptops and desktop computers later this year, as the US tech giant expands its AI presence.
The Santa Clara, California-based AI chipmaker unveiled new powerful chips that would bring advanced AI features to laptops and desktop computers at its annual Nvidia GTC event in Taipei on Monday.

CEO Jensen Huang said that the new development will “reinvent the PC (personal computer).”
The changes come as part of a three-year collaboration between Microsoft and Nvidia, pitting the latter against companies such as chipmaker Advanced Micro Devices and PC brands Intel and Apple.
