According to SAP, fears of an AI job apocalypse are overblown

SAP hosts two major conferences every year for customers, prospects and partners. This year’s Sapphire conferences took place in Orlando and Madrid. As with Sapphire Orlando, almost all of the news in Madrid focused on their approach to AI. Although SAP is the world’s largest enterprise software provider, it positions itself not only as an enterprise software provider but also as an AI governance solution provider.

I had the opportunity to interview Sebastian Steinhäuser, SAP’s Chief Operating Officer, at the conference in Madrid. Our conversation was about AI. The transcript has been edited for conciseness and clarity.
