“AI brain spawn” is the new frontier for damages claims

Artificial intelligence is emerging as the new challenge for psychosocial claims, experts say, as companies face workers’ fears of technological replacement or AI “brain-loss” from monitoring multiple agent bots.

The potential dangers are that mental health workers’ compensation claims are rising by 10 per cent a year, according to Safe Work Australia data from the last five years, despite physical injuries in the workplace falling.
