SAN FRANCISCO – Not for long after the Giants lost 7-5 to the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday, Bryce Eldridges The cell phone started buzzing. It was his agent, Tucker Ward, who watched the game and saw Eldridge come so close to his second home run in the major leagues.
He would have had it too – probably easily – if not for the wild and crazy winds or the huge Triples Alley at Oracle Park.
Because of this, Ward texted his client.
“After the game, I opened my phone and he said, ‘You got Oracle for the first time. Congratulations,'” Eldridge said.
Eldridge, the top prospect in the Giants’ organization, was actually recognized by Oracle.
