Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang recently made headlines at the Nvidia GTC Artificial Intelligence Conference in San Jose, California. The company’s market capitalization has soared to over $3.33 trillion, surpassing Apple and Microsoft to become the most valuable public company in the world, with shares up 181.7% this year.

Nvidia’s success has been driven by its Hopper chips, used for training and inferring powerful AI models, which have contributed to its record-breaking revenue. The company recently introduced its Blackwell chip, set to ship in the second quarter and reach customers by the end of the year, projected to generate revenue in 2024.

Looking ahead, Huang unveiled plans for Blackwell’s successors, including the Blackwell Ultra chip in 2025 and the Rubin AI chip platform in 2026. Nvidia aims to continue announcing new chips at a rapid pace, maintaining its position at the forefront of the AI industry.

While Nvidia’s current success is undeniable, some strategists warn of an impending AI bubble. As the company continues to innovate and expand its reach in the market, it will be important to monitor how the AI industry evolves and how Nvidia navigates potential challenges in the future.
