Australia Post has consolidated multiple software platforms into Microsoft and is involved in the Copilot early access program for Microsoft 365. The organization runs a multi-cloud environment that includes Azure and other cloud services. Executive General Manager of Business Services Michael McNamara emphasized the importance of security in Australia Post’s technology ecosystem and highlighted the ongoing efforts to strengthen services and data management in the age of AI. McNamara, who joined Australia Post from Digital Victoria last year, has implemented a new operating model for corporate support functions in alignment with the broader Post26 strategy. One of the key priorities of Post26 is to simplify and modernize operations. Additionally, Australia Post has partnered with Salesforce to enhance customer experience through improvements in package tracking, customer service, and personalization.
