Google plans to invest more than $55 billion in Anthropic

Google will invest $10 billion ($14 billion) in Anthropic PBC, with another $30 billion likely to follow, to strengthen the relationship between two companies that are both partners and competitors in the race to develop artificial intelligence.

Anthropic said Google is committed to investing $10 billion in cash now, valuing it at $350 billion, the same amount the company was valued at in a funding round in February, excluding the money it recently raised.
