Tye Sheridan hasn’t kept his interest in AI secret at all. He was one of the first in Hollywood to explore the possibilities when he co-founded AI technology company Wonder Dynamics with Nikola Todorovic in 2016. At the time, Sheridan was known for his work in science fiction films Ready, player one and the X Men Franchise, told agents, managers and anyone else in Hollywood who would listen that they should read up on AI. “It’s coming. It’s going to be a big part of our industry,” he remembers. “And some people kind of laughed because they thought it sounded so science fiction.”
After the launch of ChatGPT in 2022, Hollywood (and the rest of society) saw the possibilities.
