HPE is shifting its leadership around its role as director of sales in the South Pacific and general manager of IT, high performance computing and data solutions following the planned departure of Patrick Matthews.
In a statement, HPE said Matthews will leave on May 22 after nearly 15 years with the company to take a career break to travel and spend time with his family in the United States.
The vendor added that under Matthews’ leadership at HP and HPE, he supported growth at GreenLake, as well as managed, consulting and support services, and increased x86 market share.
He also built and developed high-performing sales teams and led business transformations alongside partners, customers, and internal teams.
