Europe’s most valuable technology company, ASML, reported on Wednesday that continued expansion of its AI infrastructure has significantly improved its bottom line.

The Dutch company reported net profit of 2.76 billion euros in the first quarter of this year, an increase of 15% compared to the same period in 2025.

As a key player in the international semiconductor supply chain, ASML produces the lithography machines necessary to produce the world’s most advanced microchips.

After a strong start to the year, the company now expects sales of between 36 and 40 billion euros for the full year 2026, which corresponds to an increase compared to the previous forecast of 34 to 39 billion euros.

The semiconductor industry’s growth prospects continue to strengthen, especially as logic and memory customers accelerate their capacity expansion plans, according to the company’s CEO Christophe Fouquet.

The company’s sales in the first quarter amounted to 8.77 billion euros.
