At around 2:50 pm on Friday, April 3rd, the LaGrange Fire Department responded to the Google Data Center construction site at 411 Pegasus Parkway for a reported injury involving a worker on the roof of the structure.
When crews arrived, they determined that the individual had sustained injuries while working approximately 50 feet above ground level.
Due to the elevated location and complexity of the rescue, additional resources were requested, including Tower 31, an 85-foot aerial platform.
Fire personnel, along with Troup County AMR and the site’s response team, provided immediate medical care while stabilizing the patient on the roof.
Crews then carefully moved the individual to the roof’s edge, where they were secured and safely lowered to the ground using the aerial platform.
Once the victim reached ground level, emergency personnel continued advanced medical care. The patient was then airlifted to a regional trauma center. The individual was reported to be in serious but stable…
