Troubled Australian software giant Atlassian will cut 10 percent of its workforce, saying artificial intelligence has reduced the number of employees it needs and that the savings will help it invest more in developing the technology.
In a note released to investors after the close of trading on the Nasdaq Market (AEDT) on Thursday, co-founder and CEO Mike Cannon-Brookes revealed that the company’s chief technology officer, Rajeev Rajan, was among 1,600 people who left the company.
