WEST MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – The city of West Memphis announced Google is hiring for a new data center in Crittenden County, part of a $4 billion investment in Arkansas through 2027.
Google began construction in October 2025. The facility is being built on a 1,100-acre property at 1500 South Loop Drive near the Mississippi River. It marks Google’s first data center in Arkansas and is expected to bring 300 jobs to the area. The project is expected to take 18 to 24 months to complete.
Google is directly hiring for electrical engineer and facilities technician positions.
