LAPORTE, Ind (WSBT 22) — A LaPorte County leader hosted an informational meeting Saturday morning to put data center rumors to rest.
Commissioner President Steve Holifield says the meeting was to address false information that had been circulating on social media.

A few of the rumors addressed included the commissioners signing non-disclosure agreements and more data centers coming to the community.
