Fluent Commerce, an Australian order management company that helps retail giants track their inventory and deliveries, has raised $46 million in a round to fuel its AI-powered ambitions.
Bain Capital led the capital raise for the Sydney-based company, which counts JD Sports, L’Oréal and LVMH among users of its data transparency and order management tools.
Founded in 2015, Fluent Commerce has made a name for itself with cloud-based solutions for retailers. The company has added click and collect or delivery services to its offering and is now helping brands with their most complex inventory management tasks.
Nowadays, the company relies on artificial intelligence to serve its customers.
In January, the company launched an integration tool that can quickly connect the data contained in Fluent Commerce to third-party POS and payment gateways, according to the company.
