ASX software shares have been sold off amid concerns about artificial intelligence (AI) disruption.
Bell Potter looked at the sector and gave his opinion on the recent sales.

The agent commented on the reasons for the sale as follows:
The recent market decline was driven in part by Anthropic’s release of various specialized plugins for its agent AI platform. By introducing tools for legal, sales, finance and analytics applications, Anthropic has heightened fears that AI-native models will fundamentally disrupt or replace incumbent software providers.
But don’t worry, it’s not the end for ASX tech shares. Far from it, says Bell Potter. It adds:
