(Bloomberg) – Michael Burry, the famous investor who has gained attention in recent months by criticizing the boom in artificial intelligence, is betting against Oracle Corp.
Burry owns put options on Oracle shares, he said in a Substack post after markets closed Friday. The value of puts typically increases when the price of the underlying asset falls. Burry, who made bearish bets against AI chip maker Nvidia Corp. in November. and Palantir Technologies Inc., Oracle has also been shorting directly over the past six months, he said.
