In 2025, AI bullshit was everywhere on social media, and Meta’s Instagram boss Adam Mosseri finally recognized something that was pretty obvious. Authenticity will be an issue in 2026.
A lot of AI-generated content still has glitchy artifacts and that shiny, almost plastic sheen that gives it away. However, distinguishing them becomes more difficult as AI models become better at reproducing less hyperreal styles.
