Nine denies any error was broadcast in an AI-generated promo, but media outlets are reporting otherwise.
A Nine Brisbane report, reportedly created in Sydney using AI, was pulled from screening after media reported it contained errors.
The Courier Mail reports that it included an aerial photo of Brisbane at night that appears to show two Story Bridges positioned at either end of the CBD.
The video also shows high-rise buildings that don’t exist and shows the Brisbane River expanding dramatically into something resembling a bay on the western edge of the city.
But a Nine spokesman denied any error and went on air.
“Any false imagery will be detected through normal production controls and processes,” they said.
