AMD is Reportedly Increasing GPU Prices, Starting January 2026 Followed By NVIDIA in February

Since we have been seeing some price hikes on GPUs here and there, it looks like it is now going to occur in most parts of the world as soon as we enter 2026. We have already reported a few times that both AMD and NVIDIA are expected to increase the GPU prices drastically; however, the exact timeframe for when these increases would begin had remained unclear.

Board Channels reports that both companies are going to increase their GPU prices, starting in 2026. We are a few days away from 2026, and it’s expected that AMD will be the one that will start hiking their GPU prices. The company’s new lineup took quite some time to stabilize, and when we were almost at the MSRP for its flagship RX 9070 XT GPU, it may go back to higher prices very soon.
