This is the first edition of an annual report for 2025 Crikey Series, Movers and Shakers.

This year in the Australian media we dealt with a federal election and the question of who got to tell political stories, bad scandals were invented, sales and mergers came and went, and Nick McKenzie continued to do Nick McKenzie things.
