Google has launched an experimental productivity assistant called CC that delivers a daily briefing from users’ Gmail, Google Drive and Google Calendar accounts.
CC was launched through Google Labs and is based on Google’s Gemini models. It sends users a daily email called “Your Day Ahead,” which summarizes upcoming calendar events, highlights tasks, and displays important updates from connected Google services.
According to Google, CC is designed to be interactive. Users can reply with queries directly to the daily digest email. This can include adding tasks, browsing files, saving notes, or teaching personal preferences to the assistant.
The move reflects a broader push by major tech companies to embed AI assistants directly into everyday productivity processes. This also includes Google itself with its AI Mode.
