I applaud Waleed Ali’s wisdom and clarity of vision as he analyzed how and why public opinion could ultimately turn against the predatory and greedy masters of the tech ecosystem (“Ban on social media could be a more seismic shift than we realize,” December 13). The public’s growing unease with feeding more and more information into the maw of AI developers can only intensify as it becomes clear to them that the ever more relentlessly collected information is fueling the manipulation of every aspect of our lives and those of our children.
