UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State students interested in pursuing a career in the technology industry have an opportunity to apply for IBM’s co-op program for positions slated to begin in early 2026.
IBM is looking for individuals from a variety of majors, including computer science and engineering, statistics, mathematics, information sciences and technology, communications and business, among others across academic colleges who want to gain hands-on experience and make real-world connections in areas like business consulting, data science, data engineering, and technology while they complete their degree.
To be eligible for the program, applicants must have a semester standing of sophomore or above, with a projected graduation of May 2026 or beyond. Individuals must also be able to work within the U.S without present or future sponsorship and obtain any necessary government security clearances.
