Nov 18 (Reuters) – A group of US states may intervene in a case over the operation of Hewlett-Packard Enterprise. (HPE.N) Acquisition of Juniper Networks for $14 billion (JNPR.MX)that the U.S. Department of Justice proposed to resolve and let the deal move forward, a judge said during a hearing Tuesday.
U.S. District Judge Casey Pitts in San Jose, California, said Colorado and other states can weigh in on the settlement, but has not decided whether he will investigate the circumstances under which it was reached, which the states have called suspicious.
